R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the |
|
death of Pilar Villegas of Waco on March 15, 2011, at the age of 84; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Pilar Villegas was born on October 27, 1926, in |
|
Durango, Mexico, to Pedro and Juliana Campa Valdez Pilar; and |
|
WHEREAS, She shared many happy years with her husband, |
|
Romaldo Villegas, until his passing, and was a devoted mother, |
|
grandmother, and great-grandmother; an active member of her |
|
community of faith as well, she was a valued parishioner at Sacred |
|
Heart Catholic Church; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although Pilar Villegas is deeply missed, she will |
|
forever be fondly remembered by all those who were privileged to |
|
share in her love and friendship; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Pilar Villegas and |
|
extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her |
|
daughters, Julia Villegas, Adriana Ortiz, Esperanza Villegas, |
|
Maria Vicinais, and Margarita Pizarro; to her 10 grandchildren, 13 |
|
great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; to her 3 |
|
sisters; and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Pilar |
|
Villegas. |
