R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |
|
of Alvin Dulock of Waco, who passed away on March 13, 2011, at the |
|
age of 84; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in Hallsburg on July 30, 1926, Alvin Dulock was |
|
the son of Antone and Agnes Dulock; answering his nation's call to |
|
duty, he served in the United States Army during World War II; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Dulock and his wife, Faye, shared a rewarding |
|
marriage that continued for six decades, and they raised three |
|
children, Cynthia, David, and Cliff; Mr. Dulock was a valued |
|
congregant of Columbus Avenue Church of Christ; and |
|
WHEREAS, With his enduring devotion to his family, his |
|
country, and his faith, Alvin Dulock made a meaningful difference |
|
in many lives, and he will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by |
|
all those who held him dear; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Alvin Dulock and |
|
extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his |
|
wife, Faye Dulock; to his daughter, Cynthia Walters; to his sons, |
|
David Dulock and his wife, Amy, and Cliff Dulock and his wife, |
|
Melanie; to his grandchildren, Ashley, Brandon, Kyleigh, and Kara; |
|
to his great-grandson, Matthew; to his brothers, Richard and |
|
Lawrence Dulock; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Alvin |
|
Dulock. |
