R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Henry Troell of Gilmer has been recognized by the
  Gilmer Area Chamber of Commerce as its 2010 Outstanding Citizen;
  and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Troell is a graduate of the University of North
  Texas, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business
  administration; a successful entrepreneur, he owns a State Farm
  Insurance agency in Gilmer, and he has achieved accreditation as a
  chartered financial consultant; and
         WHEREAS, Active in his community, Mr. Troell is a valued
  member of the chamber of commerce and served as the group's
  president in 2005; he is also a past president and current treasurer
  of the Gilmer Athletic Booster Club; over the years, he has devoted
  countless hours to supporting the Buckeyes athletic program,
  notably through assisting with the broadcast of the high school
  football games and with keeping game statistics; in addition, he
  played an instrumental role in getting the city's "Welcome to
  Gilmer" signs updated after the Buckeyes won their second state
  football championship in 2009; he also presents awards at the
  annual Gilmer High School academic awards banquet, and he sponsors
  a team in the spelling bee organized by the Upshur County Library
  Literacy Program; and
         WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Troell enjoys the love and
  support of his wife, Melissa, and his three children, Zachary,
  Alyssa, and Jenna Grace; devoted to his faith, he gives generously
  of his time and talents in behalf of First Baptist Church; and
         WHEREAS, Henry Troell has made significant contributions to
  the betterment of his community through his professional
  achievements and his civic engagement, and he is indeed deserving
  of this most recent accolade; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Henry Troell on his selection as
  the 2010 Outstanding Citizen by the Gilmer Area Chamber of Commerce
  and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Troell as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
