R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Deputy Sam Threadgill was deservedly named the 2010 |
|
|
Officer of the Year by the Wood County Sheriff's Department; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Recognized for his exceptional contributions to |
|
|
area citizens, Deputy Threadgill was honored at an awards banquet |
|
|
held at the Carroll Green Civic Center on December 11, 2010; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Texans everywhere are indebted to the courageous men |
|
|
and women in the field of law enforcement who, by their selfless |
|
|
dedication to the public welfare, have enabled us to enjoy the |
|
|
benefits of a peaceful and orderly society; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Deputy Threadgill has proven himself to be an |
|
|
exemplary member of his profession, and he may indeed reflect with |
|
|
pride on the role he plays in making the Wood County Sheriff's |
|
|
Department a success; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Deputy Sam Threadgill on being |
|
|
named the 2010 Officer of the Year for Wood County and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Deputy Threadgill as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
