R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Gale Moericke is concluding nearly a decade of |
|
|
outstanding service on the Mansfield Independent School District |
|
|
Board of Trustees in 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Moericke began his tenure on the board as Place 6 |
|
|
representative in 2002, and through the years he has served as the |
|
|
board's president and vice president; before running for office, he |
|
|
contributed greatly to the district's important endeavors through |
|
|
his participation on a number of school administrative committees; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to his work in education, Mr. Moericke |
|
|
has benefited his community as a member of the board of directors of |
|
|
the Chisholm Trail Chapter of the American Red Cross; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of Mansfield ISD, Mr. Moericke has spent |
|
|
more than 28 years in the information technology field, and today, |
|
|
he is vice president of information services for Womack Machine |
|
|
Supply; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Lending his expertise and wisdom to the cause of |
|
|
public education, Gale Moericke has distinguished himself as an |
|
|
advocate for the students of Mansfield ISD, and he may indeed |
|
|
reflect with pride on his many achievements; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Gale Moericke for his dedicated service as |
|
|
a member of the board of trustees of the Mansfield Independent |
|
|
School District and extend to him sincere best wishes for the |
|
|
future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Moericke as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
