R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
  of Mark Scot Lansdown of West, who died on March 27, 2011, at the age
  of 60; and
         WHEREAS, Mark Lansdown was born in Alva, Oklahoma, on
  December 8, 1950, to Irvan G. and Amy Grace Lansdown; after
  graduating from Alva High School in 1969, he attended Northwestern
  Oklahoma State University; and
         WHEREAS, In 1975, Mr. Lansdown married the former Yvonne
  Kubala, and together they shared 35 years and were blessed with
  three sons, Eric, Jeremy, and Trevor; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Lansdown worked with his father as a home
  builder and remodeler before joining the U.S. Postal Service as a
  building equipment mechanic; he retired from that position in 2009,
  concluding nearly three decades of service; and
         WHEREAS, A devoted family man, Mr. Lansdown enjoyed watching
  college football with his father and sons, and he also appreciated
  the hours he spent outdoors working with his plants and barbecuing;
  and
         WHEREAS, Those who were privileged to share in the friendship
  and love of Mark Lansdown will always remember him with great
  admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Mark Scot Lansdown and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  wife, Yvonne Lansdown; to his sons, Eric Lansdown, Jeremy Lansdown,
  and Trevor Lansdown and his wife, Audra; to his mother, Grace
  Lansdown; to his brother, Marvin Lansdown, and his wife, Dorothy;
  to his sister, Marsha Paris, and her husband, Greg; to his in-laws,
  Henry and Josie Kubala, Kenneth Kubala and his wife, Margaret,
  Janice Bernsen and her husband, Ken, Sandra Kaplan, Joyce Reichardt
  and her husband, Frank, Vicki Clanton and her husband, Lynn, and
  Patti Click and her husband, Mike; and to his other relatives and
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mark Scot
  Lansdown.
