R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, In a display of training and determination, the
  girls' cross country team of C. H. Yoe High School in Cameron
  finished second among the 2A competitors at the 2010 University
  Interscholastic League state meet held at Old Settlers Park in
  Round Rock on November 13, 2010; and
         WHEREAS, Coached by Dale Keen, the Lady Yoe benefited from
  strong individual performances from its roster of runners, which
  included Alisa Pena, Martha Bustamante, Madison Pevehouse, Faith
  Watkins, Brenna Lanford, Rebecca Lewis, and Lucero Ramos; together,
  they combined to put the team within 11 overall points of
  first-place finisher Spearman High School; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Bustamante, Ms. Pevehouse, and Ms. Ramos were
  also members of the 2007 Lady Yoe team that finished second in the
  state meet; and
         WHEREAS, The success attained by the C. H. Yoe cross country
  runners is a testament to their hard work and dedication, and they
  are a source of tremendous pride to their school and their many
  supporters; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate the C. H. Yoe High School girls'
  cross country team on its runner-up finish in Class 2A at the UIL
  state meet and extend to the runners, coaches, and staff sincere
  best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
