R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |
|
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Hubert and Phyllis |
|
Lytle of Greenville celebrated this joyous milestone in their |
|
marriage on February 24, 2011; and |
|
WHEREAS, Hubert Lytle and the former Phyllis Rea were joined |
|
in matrimony in 1961 at a ceremony held in Greenville; through the |
|
years, they have been blessed with a treasured family that includes |
|
three children and their spouses, Brenda and Craig Smith, Steve and |
|
Heather Lytle, and Greg and Sandy Lytle, as well as six |
|
grandchildren, Travis and Shannon Smith and Ben, Jack, Rebecca, and |
|
Paige Lytle; and |
|
WHEREAS, Respected members of their community, Mr. and Mrs. |
|
Lytle have resided in the Greenville area for the majority of their |
|
married life; together they owned and operated Lytle Sales and |
|
Rental until 1999, when they sold the business and retired; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lytle have enjoyed five decades of |
|
abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an |
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Hubert and Phyllis Lytle on their |
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
