R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five |
|
|
decades, Charles and Rachel Recer of Emory celebrated their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary on April 22, 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Recer exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
in Greenville on that memorable day in 1961, and over the course of |
|
|
their marriage, they have found in each other a devoted life |
|
|
partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Recers count among their blessings a fine family |
|
|
that includes two children and their spouses, Brian and Christy |
|
|
Recer and Tina and Joey Hicks, as well as a grandson, Joseph Hicks, |
|
|
with whom they treasure sharing the many special occasions of life; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past half-century, Charles and |
|
|
Rachel Recer can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and |
|
|
know that the strength of their love and commitment ensures that |
|
|
many more joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Charles and Rachel Recer on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Recer as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
