R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, George and Lucille Kveton of Lubbock celebrated |
|
|
their 60th wedding anniversary on March 27, 2011, and they may |
|
|
indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have |
|
|
shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, George Kveton and the former Lucille Matus exchanged |
|
|
the vows of matrimony at a ceremony held in Abbott in 1951, and over |
|
|
the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving |
|
|
life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Kveton count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes two children, Nancy Madry and her |
|
|
husband, Mike, and George F. Kveton, Jr., as well as two |
|
|
grandchildren, with whom they share the many special occasions of |
|
|
life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For six decades, George and Lucille Kveton have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate George and Lucille Kveton on their |
|
|
60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
