R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Members of Extreme Cheer & Tumble of Belton were
  honored at the National Cheerleaders Association All-Star National
  Championship 2011; and
         WHEREAS, Ably guided by coaches Bridget Wiley, Levi Drake,
  Justin Halter, and Dahlston Delgado, Extreme Cheer & Tumble bested
  other teams from around the country to take first place in the Level
  4, Small Senior, Small Gym Division; and
         WHEREAS, With girls ranging in age from 11 to 16, the squad
  includes Haley Leblanc, Jaci Goodin, Kayla Rodriguez, Valeria
  Licea, Maddie Myers, Jha Jha Powell, Lauren Colon, Jasmine
  Robertson, Maria Kirkpatrick, Charlotte Cornette, Chaney Weaver,
  Sam Lane, Angie Pratt, and Alyssa Babbs; and
         WHEREAS, These outstanding young Texans brought to the
  contest their characteristic poise and skill, as well as the
  confidence they have garnered from previous wins at the Dallas
  Cowboys Cheerleaders Competition, the American Spirit
  Championships Regional competition, and the American Cheerleaders
  Association Nationals; and
         WHEREAS, Earning a national championship represents the
  culmination of countless hours of hard work and an unwavering
  commitment to excellence, and these talented performers may take
  justifiable pride in their many accomplishments; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate members of Extreme Cheer & Tumble
  on winning their division at the 2011 National Cheerleaders
  Association All-Star National Championship and extend to them
  sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
