R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Carl and Ruth Evans of Fruitvale celebrated their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary on April 29, 2011, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Evans exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
in 1961, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in |
|
|
each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The couple count among their blessings a fine family |
|
|
that includes two daughters, Carla McGlothlin and Shelli Crocker, |
|
|
and four grandchildren, Ryan, Carley, Evan, and Ember, with whom |
|
|
they share the many special occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For half a century, Carl and Ruth Evans have brought |
|
|
to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Carl and Ruth Evans on their golden |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Evans as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
