R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, April 25, 2011, marked the 52nd wedding anniversary
  of Brady and Lauretta Bass of Cash, providing a fitting opportunity
  to reflect on their memorable journey together as husband and wife;
  and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Bass was a member of the air force when he met
  his future bride at an air show given by the renowned Navy Flight
  Demonstration Squadron called the Blue Angels at Carswell Air Force
  Base in Fort Worth; the couple fell in love and were joined in
  matrimony in 1959; through the years, they have been blessed with a
  treasured family that includes their children, Troy Bass and his
  wife, Debbie, Karla Elder, and Gaye Baxter and her husband, Jerry,
  as well as 11 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and a
  great-great-grandchild; and
         WHEREAS, After raising their family in Fort Worth, Mr. and
  Mrs. Bass moved to the Cash community; they are valued congregants
  of the First Pentecostal Church of God in Greenville; and
         WHEREAS, The 52 years of marriage that this devoted couple
  have shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of love and
  commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration to all who
  know them; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Brady and Lauretta Bass on their
  52nd wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for
  continued happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Bass as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
