R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Doug and Jo Ann Morris of Campbell celebrated their |
|
|
25th wedding anniversary on April 19, 2011, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Doug Morris and the former Jo Ann Julian exchanged |
|
|
the vows of matrimony at Peniel Baptist Church in Greenville in |
|
|
1986, and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each |
|
|
other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The couple count among their blessings a fine family |
|
|
that includes two children, Matthew Morris and Mindy Plunkett and |
|
|
her husband, Joey, as well as a granddaughter, Lizzy, with whom they |
|
|
share the many special occasions of life; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For a quarter-century, Doug and Jo Ann Morris have |
|
|
brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it |
|
|
is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Doug and Jo Ann Morris on their |
|
|
25th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Morris as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
