R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Debi Deiterman of Waco passed away on April 13,
  2011, at the age of 59, leaving her circle of family and friends to
  cherish their many happy memories of time spent in her company; and
         WHEREAS, Born on November 17, 1951, in Dallas, the former
  Debi Musick was the daughter of Derrel and Dorothy Musick; she
  earned a degree from Oklahoma State University and enjoyed a highly
  respected career as a teacher in several different school
  districts; and
         WHEREAS, Debi Deiterman took infinite joy in her family; she
  and her husband, Stephen, shared two rewarding decades together,
  and over the years she was blessed with six daughters and three
  sons, as well as with numerous grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, During her career in the classroom, Ms. Deiterman
  positively touched the lives of many children, and her strong faith
  and sunny disposition brought joy to countless other individuals,
  who knew her in such roles as "second mother," treasured friend, and
  admired neighbor; she was a valued congregant of First Baptist
  Church of Woodway for 20 years; and
         WHEREAS, Although Debi Deiterman's journey on this earth
  ended far too soon, her life was rich in family, friends, and
  accomplishments, and those who shared in the warmth of her
  affection will forever hold her close in their hearts; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Debi Deiterman and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
  husband, Stephen Deiterman; to her daughters, Pam Larned, Stacy
  Kunkel, Karen Williams, Melissa Meador, and Cassie Deiterman; to
  her sons, Jason Musick, Troy Deiterman, and David Meyers; to her
  mother, Dorothy Musick; to her brother, David Musick; to her
  grandchildren, including Damon and Derrel; and to her other
  relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Debi
  Deiterman.
