R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and |
|
meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the family and friends |
|
of Charlsie Ann Rowland of Waco, who passed away on April 4, 2011, |
|
at the age of 58; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in Austin on November 3, 1952, to John and Oleta |
|
Rowland, Charlsie Rowland enjoyed a notable career as a social |
|
worker and an occupational therapist, and she made a positive |
|
difference in the lives of countless individuals through her work; |
|
she was also a valued congregant of First Baptist Church of Hewitt; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Although the life of Charlsie Rowland ended far too |
|
soon, she will always be remembered with great tenderness and |
|
affection by those who had the good fortune to know her; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Charlsie Ann |
|
Rowland and extend deepest sympathy to the members of her family: to |
|
her sister, Barbie Dutton, and her husband, Mike; to her nephews, |
|
Jon Dutton and his wife, Alicia, and Zachary Dutton; and to her |
|
other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Charlsie |
|
Ann Rowland. |
