R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
  of Charles W. Green of Waco, who passed away on April 3, 2011, at the
  age of 70; and
         WHEREAS, Charles Green was born in Hamlin on September 7,
  1940, to Ira and Hattie Green; known affectionately to his friends
  as "Charlie Brown," Mr. Green spent as much time as he could
  outdoors, caring for his horses, going on trail rides, and fishing;
  and
         WHEREAS, Often found in the company of his beloved dog,
  Pongo, Mr. Green lived every day to the fullest, and he delighted in
  spending time with his friends and watching his grandchildren grow
  up; and
         WHEREAS, Charlie Green's ready smile and engaging
  personality were treasured by all who knew him, and he will long be
  remembered for the pleasure of his company and the joy he found in
  daily life; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Charles W. Green and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  daughters, Malinda Green Hill, Melissa McGough and her husband,
  Richey, and Sarah Green, and their mother; to his grandchildren,
  Taylor and Morgan McGough and Jordan and Jayden Hill; to his
  sisters, Betty Jo Green Rogers and Nita Green Posey; and to his
  other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Charles
  Green.
