R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The passing of Jarrell Dean Cantrell of |
|
Lacy-Lakeview on March 22, 2011, at the age of 84, has deeply |
|
saddened his family and friends; and |
|
WHEREAS, Jarrell Cantrell was born in Waco on December 6, |
|
1926, to John and Della Cantrell; he was blessed with two children, |
|
Dorothy and Dennis, and he shared a fulfilling marriage with his |
|
wife, Georgie, until her death in January 2011; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Cantrell worked for the MKT Railroad for 15 |
|
years, and he belonged to St. Joseph Catholic Church; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although he is greatly missed, memories of Jarrell |
|
Cantrell will be forever treasured by all who were privileged to |
|
share in his love and friendship; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Jarrell Dean Cantrell |
|
and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his |
|
daughter, Dorothy Jean Schaefer; to his son, Dennis Witt Cantrell; |
|
to his four grandchildren, his nine great-grandchildren, and his |
|
great-great-grandchild; and to his other relatives and friends; |
|
and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jarrell |
|
Dean Cantrell. |
