R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Lydia G. Sandoval is celebrating her 25th
  anniversary with Lone Star National Bank in McAllen in 2011, and
  this occasion provides an opportunity to pay tribute to her
  exemplary record of service; and
         WHEREAS, Initially hired as a new-accounts representative,
  Ms. Sandoval advanced steadily through a series of other
  assignments before assuming her current role as vice president and
  branch sales manager for the bank's North McColl Road location;
  throughout her tenure, she has continually distinguished herself
  with her exceptional dedication and ability, and her efforts have
  greatly contributed to the success of the institution; and
         WHEREAS, In the course of her duties, Ms. Sandoval has earned
  the appreciation of many clients who seek her counsel on important
  financial matters; she is renowned for providing all of her
  customers with the same degree of impeccable service; and
         WHEREAS, This admired professional has also been a role model
  whose notable achievements in leadership positions have helped open
  the doors to similar opportunities for other women and minorities
  in the banking and finance industries; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Sandoval has balanced her career with an active
  family life; she and her husband, Rudolfo, have raised two
  children, Rudy E. Sandoval and Erica Sandoval Sparrow, and they
  have seen their family grow to include a daughter-in-law, Reena,
  and a son-in-law, Brian; and
         WHEREAS, For a quarter of a century, Lydia Sandoval has
  proven herself to be an invaluable member of the McAllen banking
  community, and she may take justifiable pride in her
  accomplishments and in the assistance she has provided to area
  residents; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Lydia G. Sandoval on 25 years of
  service with Lone Star National Bank and extend to her sincere best
  wishes for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Sandoval as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
