R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may |
|
|
temper the profound sadness felt by the friends and family of Joe M. |
|
|
Rodriguez, who passed away on April 3, 2011, at the age of 71; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, "Dagga" Rodriguez was born on February 19, 1940, to |
|
|
Ignacio Rodriguez and Jovita G. Munis; the owner of a family |
|
|
business for many years, he later worked at Walmart in Bellmead |
|
|
until retiring; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A free-spirited individual who touched many lives |
|
|
with his kindness and generosity, Joe Rodriguez is deeply missed by |
|
|
all who were privileged to know him; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Joe M. Rodriguez and |
|
|
extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his |
|
|
brothers, Henry M. Rodriguez and Ignacio M. Rodriguez, Jr., and his |
|
|
wife, Thomasa; to his longtime beloved friend and companion, Josie |
|
|
D. Garcia; to his nieces and nephews; and to his other relatives and |
|
|
friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Joe M. |
|
|
Rodriguez. |
