R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
  of Norman E. Vinson of Waco, who passed away on April 6, 2011, at the
  age of 63; and
         WHEREAS, Norman Vinson was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on
  December 22, 1947, to Cecil and Norma Vinson; he attended Arlington
  Community High School in Indianapolis and Casper College and the
  University of Wyoming/Casper College Center, both in Casper,
  Wyoming; and
         WHEREAS, Answering his nation's call to duty, Mr. Vinson
  enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War; he
  subsequently retired from the military because of wounds he
  sustained on April 21, 1967; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Vinson was blessed with four children, Jennifer,
  Kimberly, Craig, and Brian, as well as two grandchildren, Alora and
  Josiah; and
         WHEREAS, A brave soldier and a caring father, Norman Vinson
  will be deeply missed, but memories of his wonderful sense of humor
  and compassionate spirit remain to comfort and inspire his friends
  and family; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Norman E. Vinson and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Lynn and Robert Baker; to his
  sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Katherine Vinson and Brian and
  Holly Vinson; to his grandchildren, Alora Vinson and Josiah Vinson;
  and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Norman
  Vinson.
