R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and
  meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the family and friends
  of Cleo Frances Malone of West, who passed away on April 12, 2011,
  at the age of 97; and
         WHEREAS, Born on December 5, 1913, in Whitesboro to Noah
  Francis and Rebekah Manning, the former Cleo Manning attended
  school in her hometown; she went on to marry Gordon Wesley Malone,
  and the couple shared many happy years together and welcomed into
  their family a beloved daughter, Darlene; Mr. Malone preceded his
  wife in death in 1988; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Malone worked as a seamstress in Dallas for
  more than 30 years, retiring in the late 1960s; her hobbies included
  gardening, sewing, and cooking, and she also enjoyed taking walks;
  she moved to the West area in 1993 to be near her daughter and
  son-in-law and became a faithful member of the First Baptist Church
  of West; and
         WHEREAS, Cherished for her strength, kindness, and cheerful
  nature, Cleo Malone will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by
  all those who were privileged to share in her friendship and
  affection; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Cleo Frances Malone
  and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her
  daughter, Darlene Brooks, and her husband, James "Bo" Brooks; to
  her grandchildren, Tonya White, Brittney Hand and her husband,
  Justin, and Jayme Brooks; to her great-grandchildren, Hailey White,
  Hunter White, and Kirstyn Hand; and to her other relatives and
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Cleo
  Malone.
