R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |
|
|
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Richard and Maureen |
|
|
Huberty of Parma Heights, Ohio, are celebrating this joyous |
|
|
milestone in their marriage on July 8, 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Richard G. Huberty and the former Maureen C. Dewine |
|
|
were joined in matrimony in 1961 at a ceremony held at St. James |
|
|
Catholic Church in Lakewood, Ohio; through the years, they have |
|
|
been blessed with a treasured family that includes two children and |
|
|
their spouses, Lisa and Thomas Holden and Daniel and Janet Huberty, |
|
|
as well as three grandchildren, Brianna, Ryan, and Dylan; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A graduate of Cathedral Latin High School and John |
|
|
Carroll University, Mr. Huberty is a veteran of the U.S. Army and |
|
|
retired in 1991 following a notable tenure with GMAC that spanned 31 |
|
|
years; Mrs. Huberty is an alumna of St. Joseph Academy, Ursuline |
|
|
College, and Cleveland State University, and she was employed by |
|
|
the Lorain, Strongsville, and Parma school districts, as well as by |
|
|
her alma mater, CSU, during a career in education of more than three |
|
|
decades; valued congregants of St. Bridget of Kildare Catholic |
|
|
Church, the Hubertys enjoy traveling and boating and hold |
|
|
memberships in the Sandusky Yacht Club and Great Lakes Cruising |
|
|
Club; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Huberty have enjoyed half a century of |
|
|
abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Richard and Maureen Huberty on |
|
|
their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Huberty as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
