R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of
  mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Richard and Maureen
  Huberty of Parma Heights, Ohio, are celebrating this joyous
  milestone in their marriage on July 8, 2011; and
         WHEREAS, Richard G. Huberty and the former Maureen C. Dewine
  were joined in matrimony in 1961 at a ceremony held at St. James
  Catholic Church in Lakewood, Ohio; through the years, they have
  been blessed with a treasured family that includes two children and
  their spouses, Lisa and Thomas Holden and Daniel and Janet Huberty,
  as well as three grandchildren, Brianna, Ryan, and Dylan; and
         WHEREAS, A graduate of Cathedral Latin High School and John
  Carroll University, Mr. Huberty is a veteran of the U.S. Army and
  retired in 1991 following a notable tenure with GMAC that spanned 31
  years; Mrs. Huberty is an alumna of St. Joseph Academy, Ursuline
  College, and Cleveland State University, and she was employed by
  the Lorain, Strongsville, and Parma school districts, as well as by
  her alma mater, CSU, during a career in education of more than three
  decades; valued congregants of St. Bridget of Kildare Catholic
  Church, the Hubertys enjoy traveling and boating and hold
  memberships in the Sandusky Yacht Club and Great Lakes Cruising
  Club; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Huberty have enjoyed half a century of
  abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an
  exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting
  commitment; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Richard and Maureen Huberty on
  their golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best
  wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Huberty as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
