R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the |
|
passing of Jean R. Ols of Houston on February 19, 2011, at the age of |
|
83; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born on March 21, 1927, in Cleveland, Ohio, Jean Ols |
|
married J. P. Ols, with whom she shared more than six decades of |
|
marriage; the couple were valued members of the Houston community |
|
since 1969, and together they founded and operated Ols Maintenance |
|
Supply; and |
|
WHEREAS, Cherishing her role as a wife and mother, Mrs. Ols |
|
provided a loving home for her husband and their two children, Susan |
|
and Joe; later in life, she enjoyed doting on her five grandchildren |
|
and her great-grandson; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although Jean Ols will be deeply missed, cherished |
|
memories of time spent in her company will long endure in the hearts |
|
of her family and friends; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Jean R. Ols and extend |
|
sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her husband, J. P. |
|
Ols; to her daughter, Susan Culp, and her husband, Howard; to her |
|
son, Joe Ols; to her grandchildren, Kevin Culp and his wife, Leslie, |
|
and Emily, Stephen, Michelle, and Brian Culp; to her |
|
great-grandson, Cameron; to her brother, David, and his wife, |
|
Nancy; to her sister, Ruth Hahn; and to her other loved ones; and, |
|
be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jean R. |
