R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may |
|
temper the profound sadness felt by the loved ones of Charles Henry |
|
Kadlecek of Houston, who died on September 28, 2009, at the age of |
|
62; and |
|
WHEREAS, A native of Houston, where he was born on September |
|
20, 1947, Mr. Kadlecek attended Reagan High School and the |
|
University of Houston; he went on to establish a notable career with |
|
Houston Process Systems, serving as the company's vice president |
|
for more than a quarter-century; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Kadlecek and his wife, Margaret, enjoyed 40 |
|
years of marriage, and they became the parents of three children, |
|
Chris, Carrie, and Daryl; in addition to spending time with his |
|
family, Mr. Kadlecek took pleasure in hunting, fishing, and |
|
dancing, as well as in sharing his famous barbecued brisket with |
|
others; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although Charles Kadlecek is deeply missed, |
|
memories of his passion for life, his tireless generosity, and his |
|
devotion to his loved ones remain to comfort and inspire those he |
|
left behind; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Charles Henry |
|
Kadlecek and extend sincere condolences to the members of his |
|
family: to his wife, Margaret Kadlecek; to his children, Chris |
|
Kadlecek and his wife, Leandra, Carrie Botello and her husband, |
|
Tony, and Daryl Kadlecek; to his grandchildren, Chloe and Tony |
|
Botello and Hudson Kadlecek; to his siblings, Marian, Johnny, and |
|
Jimmy Kadlecek; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Charles |
|
Kadlecek. |
