R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Carina Nicole Ramirez is marking a significant |
|
|
milestone in her life on May 20, 2011, with her graduation from The |
|
|
University of Texas at Austin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A student in the College of Liberal Arts, Carina |
|
|
Ramirez is earning a bachelor's degree in sociology with a minor in |
|
|
philosophy; during her tenure at UT, she has also been active in the |
|
|
Alpha Phi Omega coeducational service fraternity; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Ramirez is a 2001 graduate of Sandra Day |
|
|
O'Connor High School in San Antonio, where she was a part of the |
|
|
Panther dance team and All-Stars cheer squad; in all of her |
|
|
endeavors, she enjoys the love and support of her parents, |
|
|
Evangelina and Horacio Ramirez, and her brother, Marco; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Carina Ramirez is a source of great pride to her |
|
|
family, and she may indeed reflect on her academic career with a |
|
|
sense of accomplishment and look forward to a future bright with |
|
|
promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Carina Nicole Ramirez on her |
|
|
graduation from The University of Texas at Austin and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Ramirez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
