R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Lindsay Ann Smith and Bradley Allen Pepper have |
|
|
announced their engagement, to the delight of all who know them; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native of Houston, Lindsay Smith was born on |
|
|
August 21, 1982, and is a graduate of Vanderbilt University; Mr. |
|
|
Pepper was born on February 25, 1977, in Mobile, Alabama; he is a |
|
|
graduate of the University of Virginia; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Pepper and Ms. Smith met in North Carolina on |
|
|
August 26, 2006; they plan to wed on April 21, 2012, at the chapel on |
|
|
the grounds of Mr. Pepper's alma mater in Charlottesville; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The marriage of this devoted young couple will bring |
|
|
family and friends together to share in the joy of this memorable |
|
|
event, while marking a profound deepening of a relationship that |
|
|
has grown in love, respect, and mutual regard with each passing day; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Lindsay Ann Smith and Bradley Allen |
|
|
Pepper on their impending nuptials and extend to them sincere best |
|
|
wishes for a lifetime of happiness together as husband and wife; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Smith and Mr. Pepper as an expression of high |
|
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
