R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Tyler Ingraham of San Antonio was selected to
  participate in the 2011 Moreno/Rangel Legislative Leadership
  Program, and during the 82nd Legislative Session, he has ably
  served his fellow Texans as a legislative assistant in the office of
  State Representative Trey Martinez Fischer; and
         WHEREAS, Sponsored by the Mexican American Legislative
  Leadership Foundation, the program offers outstanding university
  students and recent graduates an opportunity to serve as full-time
  policy interns in the offices of members of the Mexican American
  Legislative Caucus and gain experience working with the Texas
  Legislature; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Richard Murray and Cricket Ingraham,
  Tyler Ingraham is a student in the honors college of The University
  of Texas at San Antonio, majoring in political science and minoring
  in legal studies with the ultimate goal of earning a law degree; he
  recently received the UT System's Bill Archer Fellowship, which
  will enable him to spend a semester working in Washington for the
  organization of his choice; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Ingraham is a mechanic, a writing tutor, and a
  professional carpenter as well as a student, and he participates in
  a number of community development activities; he also took part in a
  campaign for the Alamo Colleges Board of Trustees; and
         WHEREAS, Over the course of his tenure at the State Capitol,
  Mr. Ingraham has been of great assistance to Representative
  Martinez Fischer's office, while acquiring knowledge of issues
  facing citizens of the Lone Star State; he has performed his duties
  as a legislative assistant with skill, perseverance, and
  dedication, and he may indeed look forward to a rewarding future;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby honor Tyler Ingraham as a participant in the
  2011 Moreno/Rangel Legislative Leadership Program and commend him
  for his notable contributions to the legislative process; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Ingraham as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
