R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jay Dalehite has concluded his term as president of |
|
the Canyon Creek Homeowners Association in Richardson, and it is |
|
indeed a pleasure to recognize him for his outstanding |
|
contributions to his community; and |
|
WHEREAS, During Mr. Dalehite's 15 years at the helm of the |
|
association, membership has increased from 200 to 2,000 homes, and |
|
programs to benefit the Boy Scouts of America and provide |
|
scholarships for local students have been implemented; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Dalehite is currently sharing his expertise with |
|
incoming president Don Bouvier and continuing to serve the |
|
organization as membership director; in addition, he remains active |
|
in a number of worthwhile initiatives, and he is continuing to serve |
|
as district commissioner of the Cub Scouts; and |
|
WHEREAS, In all of his endeavors, Mr. Dalehite enjoys the |
|
loving support of his wife, Sandy, his children, Jesse, Debbie, and |
|
Sylvia, and his 18 grandchildren; and |
|
WHEREAS, Jay Dalehite has contributed greatly to the quality |
|
of life in Richardson, and his body of work serves as an inspiring |
|
reminder of the good that one person can accomplish; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby honor Jay Dalehite for his achievements as |
|
president of the Canyon Creek Homeowners Association in Richardson |
|
and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it |
|
further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Dalehite as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
