R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, The citizens of Missouri City have greatly benefited |
|
|
from the dedicated leadership of Bobby Marshall since he was |
|
|
elected to the city council; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Currently representing District A, Mr. Marshall has |
|
|
ably guided the city with an eye to the future during his tenure in |
|
|
municipal government, and his expertise in a range of community |
|
|
issues has earned him widespread respect; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Marshall has further contributed to his |
|
|
community through his service as president and treasurer of the |
|
|
Colony Crossing Homeowners Association, commissioner of the |
|
|
Planning and Zoning Commission, chair of the Comprehensive Plan |
|
|
Advisory Committee, vice chair of the Community Development Block |
|
|
Grant Committee, and treasurer of the Police and Fire Auxiliary; a |
|
|
Precinct Alternate Election Judge for 25 years, he has also been a |
|
|
member of the Quail Valley Acquisition Feasibility Committee and |
|
|
the Public Safety Subcommittee; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A 17-year resident of Colony Crossing in Missouri |
|
|
City, Mr. Marshall owns an office supply and printing business; in |
|
|
all of his endeavors, he enjoys the love and support of his wife, |
|
|
Vanessa, and his children, Robert and Kristin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of |
|
|
life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the efforts |
|
|
of Bobby Marshall have helped to make Missouri City a better place |
|
|
in which to live and work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Bobby Marshall for his committed public |
|
|
service and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Marshall as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
