R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The citizens of Missouri City have greatly benefited
  from the dedicated leadership of Bobby Marshall since he was
  elected to the city council; and
         WHEREAS, Currently representing District A, Mr. Marshall has
  ably guided the city with an eye to the future during his tenure in
  municipal government, and his expertise in a range of community
  issues has earned him widespread respect; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Marshall has further contributed to his
  community through his service as president and treasurer of the
  Colony Crossing Homeowners Association, commissioner of the
  Planning and Zoning Commission, chair of the Comprehensive Plan
  Advisory Committee, vice chair of the Community Development Block
  Grant Committee, and treasurer of the Police and Fire Auxiliary; a
  Precinct Alternate Election Judge for 25 years, he has also been a
  member of the Quail Valley Acquisition Feasibility Committee and
  the Public Safety Subcommittee; and
         WHEREAS, A 17-year resident of Colony Crossing in Missouri
  City, Mr. Marshall owns an office supply and printing business; in
  all of his endeavors, he enjoys the love and support of his wife,
  Vanessa, and his children, Robert and Kristin; and
         WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of
  life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the efforts
  of Bobby Marshall have helped to make Missouri City a better place
  in which to live and work; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby honor Bobby Marshall for his committed public
  service and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
  success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Marshall as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
