R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Respected and admired by his peers in the industry,
  Angelo P. Zottarelli has been elected president of the
  International Brangus Breeders Association; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Zottarelli was born in San Antonio and attended
  San Antonio College and St. Mary's University; he began his
  involvement in the livestock business by working summers on ranches
  in South Texas and the Texas Hill Country; in 2000, he attained his
  lifelong dream of becoming a cattle rancher with the purchase of a
  registered Brangus bull and 13 registered Brangus females for
  property he owned outside Evant in Hamilton County; he now runs a
  herd of 100 Brangus females and 100 commercial Brangus females
  under the ZR Brand; and
         WHEREAS, First elected to the International Brangus Breeders
  Association in 2007 as the representative of Texas and Mexico, Mr.
  Zottarelli was reelected in 2010 without opposition and has become
  a prominent figure in the organization, which is headquartered in
  San Antonio; before his election as president, he served as second
  and first vice president of the IBBA and was a member of both the
  promotion and commercial marketing committees; he also belongs to
  many Texas cattle organizations; and
         WHEREAS, Brangus cattle are the fifth-largest breed and are
  important to the Texas livestock industry, and Angelo Zottarelli is
  sure to provide valuable guidance to the IBBA in his new leadership
  role; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Angelo Zottarelli on his election
  as president of the International Brangus Breeders Association and
  extend to him sincere best wishes for success in that position; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Zottarelli as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
