R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 82nd Legislative Session, Brian C. |
|
Mitchell of San Marcos served his fellow Texans as an intern in the |
|
office of State Representative Jason Isaac; and |
|
WHEREAS, In his role as an intern, Mr. Mitchell has gained |
|
firsthand knowledge of the governmental process and work experience |
|
in a political environment, as well as insight into the issues |
|
facing our communities and state today; he has brought a high level |
|
of dedication, enthusiasm, and care to his duties, which have |
|
included responding to constituent requests, providing |
|
administrative assistance to the policy director, and researching |
|
and organizing a student legislative forum at Texas State |
|
University; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Mitchell is studying political science and |
|
communications at TSU, where he has served as chair and director of |
|
public relations for the College Republicans; he has also worked as |
|
an intern in the Washington office of Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has made valuable |
|
contributions to the State of Texas during the current legislative |
|
session, and it is most fitting to recognize him for a job well |
|
done; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Brian C. Mitchell for his service as an |
|
intern in the office of State Representative Jason Isaac and extend |
|
to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Mitchell as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
