R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, During the 82nd Legislative Session, Jordan
  Williford has ably served her fellow Texans as a legislative
  assistant in the office of State Representative Van Taylor; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Williford has
  contributed to the workings of state government firsthand while
  learning about the issues facing the citizens of the Lone Star
  State; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. Williford has brought a high level of enthusiasm
  and commitment to excellence to her tasks, which have included
  research and analysis of legislative proposals, meeting and
  corresponding with constituents and representatives of interest
  groups, scheduling, and providing efficient administrative
  support; in addition, she helped prepare and organize materials for
  the committees of Human Services, Defense and Veterans' Affairs,
  Culture, Recreation, and Tourism, and Homeland Security and Public
  Safety, and facilitated an event honoring veterans of the Iraq War;
  known for her dedication, she has often arrived early in the morning
  and stayed long past adjournment; and
         WHEREAS, Jordan Williford has made valuable contributions to
  the legislative process and the constituents in House District 66,
  and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine
  work; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Jordan Williford for her service as a
  legislative aide in the office of State Representative Van Taylor
  and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all
  her future endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Williford as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
