R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Sergeant Steve Moore was named the 2010 Officer of |
|
|
the Year by the Richardson Police Department in recognition of his |
|
|
outstanding service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During the course of his tenure with the department, |
|
|
Sergeant Moore has distinguished himself as a member of the |
|
|
Leadership Team and the Special Weapons and Tactics Unit; in |
|
|
addition, he has served capably as a training officer and as an |
|
|
acting sergeant for the patrol division; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In each of his roles, this dedicated public servant |
|
|
has earned the respect and admiration of his fellow officers for his |
|
|
integrity, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Sergeant Moore has proven himself to be an exemplary |
|
|
member of his profession, and he may indeed reflect with pride on |
|
|
the vital part he plays in ensuring the safety and welfare of the |
|
|
citizens of Richardson; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Sergeant Steve Moore of the |
|
|
Richardson Police Department on being named the 2010 Officer of the |
|
|
Year and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success |
|
|
with his important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Sergeant Moore as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
