R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Margaret Vandever of Waco passed away on
  April 23, 2011, at the age of 95, leaving her circle of family and
  friends to cherish their many happy memories of time spent in her
  company; and
         WHEREAS, Born on January 28, 1916, in Holland, Texas, to
  Charles and Dovie Joiner McCray, the former Margaret McCray enjoyed
  the companionship of two sisters, Bessie and Luela; and
         WHEREAS, She married Roy Vandever and the couple shared a
  rewarding relationship that was further enriched with the addition
  of four children, R. C., Tom, Sue, and Dovie; through the years,
  Mrs. Vandever watched her treasured family grow to include six
  grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, This sweet-natured woman was a longtime employee of
  Weston Bakery and a valued member of Northside Church of Christ; and
         WHEREAS, Margaret Vandever touched many lives during her time
  on this earth, and she will forever hold a special place in the
  hearts of those who knew and loved her; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Margaret Vandever
  and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
  daughters and their spouses, Sue and Jerry Miller and Dovie and
  Truman Burrow; to her daughter-in-law, Teeny Vandever; to her
  sister, Luela Snow; to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
  and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Margaret
  Vandever.
