R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may |
|
temper the profound sadness that the death of Esther Hilda |
|
Schimschat of Waco on April 25, 2011, brings to all who loved her; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in Riesel to Albert and Ella Obearle on |
|
December 11, 1922, the former Esther Obearle was joined in marriage |
|
to Henry Fred Schimschat; the couple shared a rewarding |
|
relationship of 46 years and became the parents of four children; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Schimschat was a lifelong member of Friedens |
|
United Church of Christ, and she demonstrated her faith through her |
|
concern for others; and |
|
WHEREAS, Devoted to her family, Esther Schimschat lived a |
|
caring and purposeful life, and she will forever occupy a treasured |
|
place in the hearts of those who were privileged to know her; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Esther Hilda |
|
Schimschat and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her |
|
family: to her daughters, Marlene Springer and her husband, Louis, |
|
and Lanell Hart and her husband, Oscar; to her son, Raymond |
|
Schimschat, and his wife, Patsy; to her brother, Adolph Obearle, |
|
and his wife, Martha; to her 10 grandchildren, 12 |
|
great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and to her |
|
other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Esther |
|
Schimschat. |
