R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Bob
  Parsons, who passed away on April 24, 2011, at the age of 71; and
         WHEREAS, A native of Waco, Bob Parsons was born on December 6,
  1939, to John Curtis and Bulah Viola Parsons; as a young man he
  served in the U.S. Air Force, and, following his service, he went on
  to enjoy a successful career in sales; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Parsons shared a rewarding relationship with his
  wife, Connie, and together they were blessed with a large family;
  over the course of his life, he made his home in Waco, Denison, and
  Marble Falls, and golf was a favorite pastime; and
         WHEREAS, Although his death has brought great sorrow to all
  who knew him, memories of Bob Parsons will be forever treasured by
  those who were privileged to share in his love and friendship; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Bob Parsons and extend
  sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his sons,
  Michael Lance Parsons and his wife, Amy, Mitchell Lane Parsons,
  Sean Dean Parsons and his wife, Anne, and Steve Turnage; to his
  daughter, Michelle Leane Wylie, and her husband, Brandon; to his
  seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; to his sister,
  Judy Parsons-Sickles, and her husband, Bob; to his brothers, Chuck
  Parsons and his wife, Sharon, and John Paul Parsons; and to his
  other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Bob
  Parsons.
