R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends are mourning the loss of Bob |
|
Parsons, who passed away on April 24, 2011, at the age of 71; and |
|
WHEREAS, A native of Waco, Bob Parsons was born on December 6, |
|
1939, to John Curtis and Bulah Viola Parsons; as a young man he |
|
served in the U.S. Air Force, and, following his service, he went on |
|
to enjoy a successful career in sales; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Parsons shared a rewarding relationship with his |
|
wife, Connie, and together they were blessed with a large family; |
|
over the course of his life, he made his home in Waco, Denison, and |
|
Marble Falls, and golf was a favorite pastime; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although his death has brought great sorrow to all |
|
who knew him, memories of Bob Parsons will be forever treasured by |
|
those who were privileged to share in his love and friendship; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Bob Parsons and extend |
|
sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his sons, |
|
Michael Lance Parsons and his wife, Amy, Mitchell Lane Parsons, |
|
Sean Dean Parsons and his wife, Anne, and Steve Turnage; to his |
|
daughter, Michelle Leane Wylie, and her husband, Brandon; to his |
|
seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; to his sister, |
|
Judy Parsons-Sickles, and her husband, Bob; to his brothers, Chuck |
|
Parsons and his wife, Sharon, and John Paul Parsons; and to his |
|
other relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Bob |
|
Parsons. |
