R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The untimely death of Bridger Wayne Hogan of Eddy on |
|
April 19, 2011, at the age of 17, has brought a profound loss to all |
|
who knew and loved him; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in Waco on May 20, 1993, to Darrell Hogan and |
|
Melanie Griffin, Bridger Hogan enjoyed baseball, hunting, fishing, |
|
and spending time with his family and friends; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although his journey on this earth was far too |
|
brief, Bridger Hogan touched the hearts of many with his |
|
ever-present smile and contagious laughter, and he will be forever |
|
remembered with great affection by all those who were fortunate |
|
enough to share in his love and friendship; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Bridger Wayne Hogan |
|
and extend deepest condolences to the members of his family: to his |
|
mother, Melanie Edwards, and her husband, Chip; to his father, |
|
Darrell Hogan, and his wife, Lori; to his sister, Kassidy Hogan; to |
|
his stepbrother, Mason Edwards; to his stepsisters, Ryann Edwards |
|
and Ashlan and Kailee Brock; to his maternal grandparents, Cecil |
|
and Dale Griffin; to his paternal grandparents, Frankie and Donna |
|
Hogan; to his paternal great-grandmother, Marie Scott, and her |
|
husband, C. W.; to his uncles, David Griffin and Darren Griffin and |
|
his wife, Shawn; to his aunt, Cherie Walker, and her husband, Eric; |
|
to his cousins, Marley Cureton and Ashley Cureton and her husband, |
|
Jon, Austin and Zoe Griffin, Matt and Jace Walker, and Kennedy |
|
Miller; and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it |
|

RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Bridger |
|
Wayne Hogan. |
