R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Dorothy Nolan of Waco passed away on April 12, 2011,
  at the age of 77, leaving her circle of family and friends to
  cherish their memories of many happy times spent in her company; and
         WHEREAS, Born on January 1, 1934, in McLennan County to
  Johnnie and Ruby German, the former Dorothy German was adopted at a
  young age by James and Stella Hall; and
         WHEREAS, She enjoyed a rewarding relationship with her
  husband of 43 years, Philip C. Nolan, until the time of his passing;
  fortunate to find love again, she married Bobbie L. Nolan in 2001;
  and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Nolan was the devoted mother of four children,
  Wesley, Philip, Mark, and Lodusca, and she also delighted in
  welcoming eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren into
  her family; her favorite pastimes included visiting antique shops
  and cooking; and
         WHEREAS, Dorothy Nolan touched many lives during her time on
  this earth, and she will forever hold a special place in the hearts
  of those who knew and loved her; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Dorothy Nolan and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
  husband, Bobbie L. Nolan; to her sons, Philip and Mark Nolan; to her
  daughter, Lodusca Collier; to her brothers and sisters, Arnold,
  Thomas, Eve, and Elizabeth; to her grandchildren and
  great-grandchildren; and to her other relatives and friends; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Dorothy
  Nolan.
