R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A 50th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |
|
|
mutual devotion and shared experiences, and Robert and Kathy Ranly |
|
|
of Temple celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on |
|
|
April 8, 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Robert Ranly and the former Kathy Dixon were joined |
|
|
in matrimony in 1961 at a ceremony held at St. Mary's Catholic |
|
|
Church; through the years, they have been blessed with a treasured |
|
|
family that includes two sons and their wives, Brian and Jeanese |
|
|
Ranly and Steven and Miki Ranly, as well as five grandchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Respected Temple area residents for 50 years, Mr. |
|
|
Ranly worked as a purchasing manager for Griggs Equipment Company, |
|
|
Artco-Bell Corporation, and L. L. Sams Manufacturing before his |
|
|
retirement, while Mrs. Ranly was employed by Temple National Bank |
|
|
for 12 years and retired after a quarter-century as a floral |
|
|
designer with Precious Memories; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Ranly have enjoyed five decades of |
|
|
abiding love and affection for one another, and they are among an |
|
|
exceptional group of men and women who can claim such a lasting |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Robert and Kathy Ranly on their |
|
|
golden wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes |
|
|
for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Ranly as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
