R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, After four years of dedicated service, John
  Trischitti III is stepping down as assistant director of the Riter
  C. Hulsey Public Library in Terrell in May 2011 to accept a new
  opportunity; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Trischitti began his affiliation with the
  library in 2006 when he was elected to the Friends of the Library
  board; he later served that group as president, and in 2007, he
  joined the library's staff as assistant director; he is known for
  his enthusiasm, humor, and can-do approach, as well as for his
  excellent theatrical skills at story time; particularly
  knowledgeable about children's literature, he has been a member of
  the Texas Library Association's Bluebonnet Award selection
  committee and was instrumental in procuring a Texas Reads grant for
  the summer reading program from the Texas State Library and
  Archives Commission; and
         WHEREAS, This native Texan grew up in Lubbock and graduated
  from Wayland Baptist University with a double major in English
  literature and journalism; he worked for a number of community
  newspapers, on a ranch in Wyoming, and with a grocery store chain
  before joining the Terrell library; with a recently earned master's
  degree in library science from the University of North Texas in
  hand, he is leaving to begin a new job as the library director for
  Midland County; and
         WHEREAS, In all of his endeavors, Mr. Trischitti is supported
  by his wife, Diana, and the couple are the proud parents of two
  children, Jay and Olivia; and
         WHEREAS, John Trischitti's dedication and professionalism
  have helped the people of Terrell to further enjoy a treasured
  community resource, and he may take justifiable pride in the
  important role he has played in keeping Terrell reading; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby honor John Trischitti III for his service as the
  assistant director of the Riter C. Hulsey Public Library and extend
  to him sincere best wishes for success in his new position; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Trischitti as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
