R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Carol Daley of Arlington has been named America's |
|
|
Most Deserving Mom by the Northwest Florida's Emerald Coast |
|
|
Convention and Visitors Bureau; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In order to win this noteworthy competition, Mrs. |
|
|
Daley and her husband, Bill, submitted a video that emphasized how |
|
|
much their seven-year-old son, Will, benefits from the beach |
|
|
environment; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Daley has worked tirelessly in behalf of her |
|
|
son, who suffered medical complications from premature birth and |
|
|
struggles with autism; she left her position in sales to devote |
|
|
herself to his care and participate in the therapy that he requires; |
|
|
moreover, she has dedicated herself to helping other children with |
|
|
developmental delays as well; in all her endeavors, she enjoys the |
|
|
support and encouragement of her husband; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her determination to help her son reach his |
|
|
fullest potential, Carol Daley has set an inspiring example for |
|
|
others, and she indeed merits special recognition; now, therefore, |
|
|
be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Carol Daley on her selection as |
|
|
America's Most Deserving Mom and extend to her and her family |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mrs. Daley as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
