R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Residents of Stafford have greatly benefited from |
|
|
the dedicated leadership of Robert Sorbet since he was elected to |
|
|
the city council; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, During his tenure in municipal government, Mr. |
|
|
Sorbet has ably guided the city with an eye to the future, and his |
|
|
expertise in a range of community issues has earned him widespread |
|
|
respect; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Sorbet was elected to the city council in 2008; a |
|
|
resident of Stafford since 1996, he also serves as a director of the |
|
|
homeowners' association in his subdivision; he is employed in |
|
|
electrical sales with a territory covering southeastern Texas; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of |
|
|
life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the efforts |
|
|
of Robert Sorbet have helped to make Stafford an even better place |
|
|
in which to live and work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Robert Sorbet for his committed public |
|
|
service and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Sorbet as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
