R E S O L U T I O N

|
WHEREAS, Former Cedar Hill Council member Wade Emmert was |
|
|
elected chair of the Dallas County Republican Party in May 2011; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In his new role, Mr. Emmert will make lasting |
|
|
contributions to the people of the county and to the election |
|
|
process, while supporting the party's mission to elect public |
|
|
servants who will build a better state and nation for current and |
|
|
future generations; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, It is most appropriate to take this opportunity to |
|
|
recognize Wade Emmert, who is devoting his time, energy, and |
|
|
talents toward realizing Texas Republican Party platform goals of |
|
|
limited government, free enterprise, personal liberty, and strong |
|
|
national security; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Wade Emmert on his election as |
|
|
chair of the Dallas County Republican Party and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Emmert as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
