R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The loved ones of Helen Marie Davis were greatly |
|
saddened by her passing on March 9, 2011, at the age of 87; and |
|
WHEREAS, A valued member of the Waco community, Helen Davis |
|
was active in the congregation at Trinity Lutheran Church and in the |
|
Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2148; and |
|
WHEREAS, This beloved woman shared a rewarding marriage with |
|
Robert Davis, her husband of nearly six decades, and she was also |
|
devoted to her children, Stan, Mary, and Robert; and |
|
WHEREAS, Helen Davis enjoyed a life that was rich in the |
|
intangibles that matter most, and she is deeply missed by all those |
|
who held her dear; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Helen Marie Davis |
|
and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her |
|
son, Stan W. Davis, and his wife, Jimmie; to her daughter, Mary D. |
|
Schumann, and her husband, Jim; to her granddaughter, Sunnee Davis |
|
Lange Schumann; to her two brothers; and to her other relatives and |
|
friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Helen Marie |
|
Davis. |
