R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, During the 82nd Legislative Session, Jacob Welch has |
|
|
skillfully served his fellow Texans as assistant clerk for the |
|
|
House Committee on Technology; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Welch provided helpful support during the |
|
|
committee's deliberations, and he ably assisted the public with |
|
|
inquiries concerning the committee's work; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Dan and Dolly Welch, Mr. Welch graduated |
|
|
cum laude from the University of Arkansas with a dual degree in |
|
|
economics and finance; he holds a law degree from Tulane University |
|
|
Law School, and he passed the Texas bar in 2010; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Approaching his responsibilities with energy and |
|
|
professionalism, Mr. Welch has made important contributions to the |
|
|
legislative process during the current session, and it is most |
|
|
fitting to recognize him for a job well done; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Jacob Welch for his service as assistant |
|
|
clerk for the House Committee on Technology and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Welch as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
