R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Mary Ellen Cummings has served with distinction as a |
|
|
Republican Party precinct chair in Dallas County, making lasting |
|
|
contributions to the people of the county and to the election |
|
|
process; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Precinct chairs are integral to the success of the |
|
|
party's mission to elect public servants who will build a better |
|
|
state and nation for families and children based on traditional |
|
|
values and core conservative principles; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, It is most appropriate to take this opportunity to |
|
|
recognize an outstanding Texan who has devoted time, energy, and |
|
|
talents toward realizing Texas Republican Party platform goals such |
|
|
as limiting government power, strengthening and safeguarding |
|
|
children and families, and affirming the importance of personal |
|
|
responsibility and the entrepreneurial spirit; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |

|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Mary Ellen Cummings for serving as a |
|
|
Republican Party precinct chair in Dallas County and extend to this |
|
|
public-spirited individual sincere best wishes for the future; and, |
|
|
be it further |

|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Cummings as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
