R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Diann Jones served with distinction as an invaluable |
|
|
campaign volunteer for the 2010 House District 102 election, and in |
|
|
so doing made significant contributions to the citizens of House |
|
|
District 102 and to the election; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dedicated individuals such as Ms. Jones are integral |
|
|
to the success of the candidate's mission to serve and the party's |
|
|
mission to elect public servants who will build a better district |
|
|
and state for our families and children for generations to come; in |
|
|
supporting these worthy goals, they work with people from all walks |
|
|
of life to make our communities stronger, safer, more just, and more |
|
|
secure; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Because public policy affects our daily lives, the |
|
|
work of these committed campaign volunteers helps to build a |
|
|
prosperous state with elected officials who are prepared to meet |
|
|
the challenges of the future; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, It is indeed a pleasure to take this opportunity to |
|
|
recognize an outstanding Texan who has devoted time, energy, and |
|
|
talents toward promoting the interests of the citizens of House |
|
|
District 102; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Diann Jones for serving as a campaign |
|
|
volunteer for the 2010 House District 102 election and extend to |
|
|
this public-spirited individual sincere best wishes for the future; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Jones as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
