R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The end of the 2011 baseball season also marks the |
|
|
conclusion of the noteworthy high school career of Jacob Soisson of |
|
|
the Jasper High Bulldogs; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Soisson was named to the all-district team in |
|
|
each of the three seasons he was a varsity letterman, and his |
|
|
contributions helped the team to reach the state semifinals in |
|
|
2010; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With his .519 batting average for 2011, Mr. Soisson |
|
|
was named the District 18-3A offensive most valuable player and |
|
|
player of the year and was selected to play in the Texas High School |
|
|
Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Demonstrating admirable sportsmanship and |
|
|
determination, Jacob Soisson contributed greatly to his team's |
|
|
success, and he may take justifiable pride in his outstanding |
|
|
performance on the diamond during his years with the Bulldogs; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby recognize Jacob Soisson for his achievements as |
|
|
a member of the Jasper High School baseball team and extend sincere |
|
|
best wishes to him for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Soisson as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
