R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The end of the 2011 baseball season also marks the
  conclusion of the noteworthy high school career of Jacob Soisson of
  the Jasper High Bulldogs; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Soisson was named to the all-district team in
  each of the three seasons he was a varsity letterman, and his
  contributions helped the team to reach the state semifinals in
  2010; and
         WHEREAS, With his .519 batting average for 2011, Mr. Soisson
  was named the District 18-3A offensive most valuable player and
  player of the year and was selected to play in the Texas High School
  Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game; and
         WHEREAS, Demonstrating admirable sportsmanship and
  determination, Jacob Soisson contributed greatly to his team's
  success, and he may take justifiable pride in his outstanding
  performance on the diamond during his years with the Bulldogs; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 82nd Texas
  Legislature hereby recognize Jacob Soisson for his achievements as
  a member of the Jasper High School baseball team and extend sincere
  best wishes to him for continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Soisson as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
